Club Rotario Bhaia De Jaltema

Angels for Mexico would like to acknowledge and give a huge thank you to this Rotary Club located in Guayabitos. I approached them last year, after having many difficulties dealing with the Mexican Government, to assist in bringing in our next shipment of fire gear and equipment. The response was positive and enthusiastic and we are now weeks away from sending the shipment off to Mexico.

This group does many important and worthwhile projects in this area. One of their members, Jim Smith (from Olds, Alberta) is helping to facilitate a fire truck from Olds being donated to the Guayabitos firehall. Another member, Bill McDowell, has a small auto body shop at his home in La Penita. He has offered to do free labour for repairs to the ambulances and fire trucks.

This truly is a group of people who are interested in making the communities around them better in whatever way they can help make possible. We are proud to partner with them and hope to continue doing so in the future.

I would like to give special thanks to Eddie Dominguez, one of the Club leaders, who has worked closely with me from the time I first met the Club.
